The Caledonian Hilton in Edinburgh is set a short distance from the city’s convention centre and so is ideally placed for guests looking to visit the centre. Onsite, meanwhile, there are 12 meeting and conference rooms for all sorts of functions for between four and 400 delegates or guests. There is also a business centre which is open from 7am until 7pm each day and offers a range of services at an added cost. Wireless internet is available throughout this part of the Caledonian, while the team of well-trained staff is on hand to help with the organisation and running of your event or activity.
Below is a table of the hotel’s nine main meeting rooms and their respective capacities for a selection of room layouts. As well as the noted boardroom, theatre, banquet and reception layouts, the rooms can also be used in classroom and u-shape settings. The largest of the facilities is the castle suite, positioned on the ground floor and with a maximum capacity of 400 people. The suite is suitable for all sorts of events including weddings and features excellent views of the castle. Each of the other meeting facilities is located on the hotel’s first floor and are either medium and small in size.
