About the Caledonian Hilton Edinburgh Hotel
The Caledonian Hilton Edinburgh Hotel came into being at the beginning of the 20th century and is set in an attractive building at the heart of the Scottish capital. More specifically, it is positioned on the historic Princes Street which was built along with the nearby George Street and Queen Street in the middle of the 18th century. From this location, the Caledonian Hilton, or the Cally as it is affectionately known, looks out over the nearby Princes Street Gardens and train track as it works its way through the city.
The hotel’s striking exterior is complemented by a traditional design and feel to its interior. It has a range of helpful and comfortable facilities and amenities, including two restaurants, two bars, 12 meeting rooms, more than 250 guest rooms and a swimming pool.

The Caledonian Hilton Edinburgh Hotel is just a short distance from Edinburgh’s famous castle which is perched on a hilltop looking out over the city on the other side of the gardens. Conveniently, the Edinburgh International Conference Centre is also a stone’s throw from the hotel and so the Cally proves ideal for business visitors heading there. Further, businesses such as the Royal Bank of Scotland, Standard Life and Scottish Widows are each within a mile of the Hilton venue.
